Kate Donnelly has been a consultant with Hager Strategic since 1998, and has worked in the HR and benefits industry since 1990. While at Hager Strategic, she has managed vendor evaluation projects for clients of all sizes. She has also supported several clients through large implementation efforts, focusing on project management as well as communications to HR and benefits staff. Kate also organizes biannual meetings of the HR Outsourcing Forum.
Before joining Hager Strategic, Kate worked with Watson Wyatt Worldwide (now Towers Watson) where she managed a broad range of projects for her clients, including annual health & welfare enrollments, the implementation of managed care health plans, and the design and introduction of HR self-service applications. Her responsibilities included setting criteria for success for projects, managing overall project schedules and resources, issues tracking and resolution and facilitating ongoing project status meetings.
Kate also worked as a communications consultant for several years, helping clients successfully introduce organizational change. Her experience spans all aspects of employee communications, including strategic planning, employee research, training, design and production. She has developed and implemented a wide range of communication strategies in support of major HR initiatives, including flexible benefit plan enrollments, retirement planning, and insourced and outsourced benefits service centers.
