Brett Barthelmess joined Hager Strategic in 2001, and has worked in the HR and benefits administration industry since 1987.
Brett specializes in Human Resources Administration and works with clients in the areas of HRIS Strategic Consulting, Implementation Consulting, Formalized Testing, Validation and Verification, and Human Resource Administration Outsourcing.
Brett’s recent projects include assisting a large employer with Internal Project Management support in Transitioning Benefits Administration from multiple business units to an outsourcing vendor. He has also served as the lead for client acceptance testing during implementation for a number of clients and has led a number of comprehensive administration audits.
Previously, Brett was a lead functional consultant for Wellspring Resources (now ING), working on full-scale Benefits Administration Outsourcing projects for Fortune 100 employers. In this role, Brett was responsible for the requirements, functional design and implementation of system modifications and enhancements. He also managed the annual enrollment implementation and system processes for these clients.
Prior to joining Wellspring Resources, Brett worked as a systems consultant and administration specialist at Watson Wyatt Worldwide (now Towers Watson). His work focused primarily on the design of information systems that provided solutions to Benefits Administration and Human Resource projects. In addition, Brett played a large role in the development of PC-based modeling tools as well as Human Resource re-engineering projects. He has used his expertise in his role as lead consultant for a number of Fortune 100 companies.
